Message of March 6 was read, stating the House passed SENATE                   
BILL NO. 56 with the following amendment:                                      
                                                                               
Page 3, line 17, following "arrow.":                                           
	Insert "The department may except a sign from the width                       
and height requirements of this subsection if the sign does not                
exceed 90 inches in width or 18 inches in height and the department            
finds that the exception is consistent with the purposes of this               
subsection."

Senator Taylor moved that the Senate concur in the House                       
amendment.  Senator Adams objected.
